REPORTS TO: Loan Operations Manager

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: High School diploma or the equivalent. Skills should include computers and related computer programs and software. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is necessary. Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Good organizational, interpersonal, communications, and customer relations skills are required. Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and handling frequent interruptions.

EXTERNAL CONTACTS: Frequent contact with customers, attorneys, CPAs, auditors, vendors, regulators, and other financial institutions.

INTERNAL CONTACTS: Frequent contact with personnel throughout the Bank and Branches regarding loan administration and compliance issues. Frequent contact with Bank’s lending staff. Must be a team player with other loan operations personnel and all Bank personnel.

CONSEQUENCES OF ERRORS: Non-compliance with lending regulations and improper handling of loan documentation could result in delay of loan process and loans not being approved; poor customer service could result in loss of time, customer dissatisfaction, loss of customers, financial loss to the Bank, damage to Bank reputation; incorrect documentation could result in potential loan losses, customer dissatisfaction, loss of customers, financial loss for the Bank, damage to Bank reputation, and/or potential litigation against the Bank.

EXPOSURE TO CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: Access to customer financial statements, tax returns and credit information; employee account, loan, and other financial information; unauthorized release of information could result in customer dissatisfaction, loss of customers, financial loss to the Bank, damage to Bank reputation, and/or potential litigation against the Bank.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Floor Plan administration
  • Collections
  • Insurance Processing
  • Imaging of loan packages and other documentation
  • Prepare new and renewal loan packages.
  • Prepare modifications for real estate loans.
  • Book all types of loans including consumer, single family, commercial and industrial and commercial real estate.
  • Maintain negotiable collateral
  • Other loan department related clerical work
